 AUDIO HIGHLIGHTS "on demand"

Award winning film maker, Jeff Nichols with "Shotgun Stories"

His first feature length film, Shotgun Stories, haD a run scheduled at the Market Street Cinema in Little Rock. Nichols is an interesting guy and has a great story. Of course, I highlight all the good stuff in this insightful and entertaining interview (31 min.)

Joyce Elliott is back on the Political scene

It's not like she died, or anything like that, but she was "term limited" out of the legislature. That catches up with good and bad lawmakers alike. Elliott was recently elected to state senate in Little Rock. We discussed education, drinking, gambling, economic development and a lot more. It is a delightful visit. (32 min.)

Scott Edge's "Masterpiece" Premieres

Yet another Arkansas film maker made his way on to the show. Scott Edge is a film producer and entrepreneur. Edge describes his varied activities through SkyGate Studios and his passion for the short film "Masterpiece." Scott has video of our interview which will be posted on the film's site and you can listen here.(27 min.)

Tim Jackson is "Looking for Lurch"

You may recall Tim Jackson from "Where's my Close-Up, Mr. Thornton?" It was a very popular and amusing short feature. It won accolades (but no money) in the Little /Rock Film Festival. Now Tim has taken to exploiting animals. (Only Joking.) You will never believe the story of Lurch. I might also add that part of this interview is my shameless attempt to patch things up with Ray McKinnon. This is yet another delightful segment. (32 min.)

Writer-Director Ray McKinnon grovels for Lyncho

Desperate to rejuvenate his career, Ray McKinnon, who has enjoyed some success as a film writer and actor, visited the Pat Lynch Show in hopes of boosting his latest effort, Randy and the Mob. It is a comedy with a message and Ray gave an unbelievable interview. He has a real sense of humor. Who is Ray McKinnon? Remember Deadwood? He's the preacher. (33 min.)

Green candidate blasts Pryor

The Green candidate for U. S. Senate, Rebekah Kennedy was a guest, and totally ripped Senator Mark Pryor for being a reliable vote whenever Republicans need one. She spoke at length about health care issues and the difficulties getting on the general election ballot. You can find out more, and download her petition here. This is another classic Pat hour. (27 min.)

The Rt. Rev. John Rucyahan has a lot to say abouforgiveness and reconciliation. Rwanda is the scene of a horrible slaughter of over 1 million people in 100 days. How do the victims and the perpetrators live together? Bishop John is just plain outspoken. His book, The Bishop of Rwanda, is getting some serious notice. You will enjoy our hour together.
